Texas Roadhouse, the chain steak joint, has opened its doors in Selden. Located on the site that once housed a Ruby Tuesdays, the new restaurant can be seen on the corner of Route 83 and Middle Country Road in Selden Plaza.

 

COVID-19 caused delays in the grand opening but they were able to open their doors at the end of the summer. The company has over 500 locations nationwide; this is their third on Long Island including Deer Park and East Meadow.

 

With starters like Chili, Fried Pickles and Cactus Blooms (onion golden-fried with Cajun Horseradish sauce) on the menu you’ll be primed for the main course, which of course, includes a variety of hand-cut steaks and ribs.
