Man Wanted for Burglarizing Boy Scouts Medford Headquarters

Medford, NY - October 10th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man who broke into a business in Medford in September.

On September 15, 2014, between 1:15 a.m. and 2:45 a.m., a man attempted to break into the Boy Scouts of America building at 7 Industrial Boulevard, Medford, by attempting to pry open a side window. No entry was made. The man then broke a window in an adjacent building that houses Posimech, located at 15 Industrial Boulevard. Sheetrock walls and doors were damaged.

The man is described as white, approximately 32-39 years old, clean shaven, and a muscular build. He was wearing a baseball hat, crew neck sweatshirt, blue jeans and work shoes.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
