Man Wanted for Armed Robbery of Elmont BP Gas Station

Elmont, NY - October 9th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Robbery which occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:37 P.M. in Elmont.

According to detectives, a male victim, 26, was working at the BP gas station located at 653 Hempstead Turnpike when a male armed with an automatic handgun entered the front door.  The unknown suspect demanded the victim open the registers and give him money.  The victim complied giving the suspect an undetermined amount of cash.  The suspect was wearing gloves, a mask and hooded shirt which covered his entire face.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction.  There was one employee and one customer in the store at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported.
