Huntington Station Man Arrested for Series of Commercial Burglaries

Huntington Station, NY - October 9th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police arrested a Huntington Station man yesterday for committing 16 commercial burglaries at various locations in Suffolk County during the last five months.

Second Precinct detectives investigating an identified county crime pattern, arrested Anthony Myles for several recent commercial burglaries at 3:55 p.m. Following the arrest, it was determined that Myles, 50, was linked to nine burglaries in the Second Precinct area, five in the First Precinct area, one in the Third Precinct area and one in the Fourth Precinct area for a total of 16 burglaries.

Myles, of 33 E. 4th St., Huntington Station, has been charged with sixteen counts of Burglary 3rd Degree. He is being held at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned this morning at First District Court in Central Islip.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
