Muttontown, NY - October 10th, 2103 - The Frank Cassata Family Foundation has been helping so many people over the years and this year was no different. Rosario S. Cassata and Nicole Cassata Trustees of The Frank Cassata Family Foundation hosted its 6th annual golf classic at Woodside Country Club in Muttontown, NY. The charity event was again a huge success.
The Frank Cassata Family Foundation raised $20,000 dollars for the Elisabeth R. Woods Foundation for their efforts and partnerships with United Against Lung Cancer and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
Rosario S. Cassata and his daughter also presented a private grant of $7,500 dollars to the Jeff Galluzzo family of Commack.
Jeff was a long time native of Deer Park, NY and an assistant principal for many years. Sadly, Jeff passed several weeks later battling his fight against lung cancer.
Overall, The Frank Cassata Family Foundation was able to help makes strides toward the research to find a cure for lung cancer.
