SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Deer Park Pharmacy Robbery

Deer Park, NY - October 7th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Deer Park Pharmacy on Sunday, October 6, 2013.

At approximately 8:10 p.m., a white male entered the CVS Pharmacy, located at 1944 Deer Park Avenue, jumped over the pharmacy counter, grabbed the pharmacy clerk and demanded prescription pain medication. The clerk complied and the suspect fled in a dark-colored SUV. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Deer Park Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin build.  He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Volcom Stone logo on the front, black jeans, black sneakers and aviator sunglasses. Detectives believe that this subject might be the same person who committed a robbery at this location on September 22 and are asking for the public’s help in locating this suspect.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
