Update - October 7th, 2013: According to Detectives, the above investigation determined that a second victim was located in front of 237 Lawson Street.  The female victim, 18, was stabbed multiple times and was transported to a local area hospital where she is listed in critical condition.   

Hempstead, NY - October 6th, 2013 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a stabbing which occurred on October 6, 2013 at 7:01 AM in Hempstead.

According to detectives, Hempstead Police officers responded to an aided case on Lawson Street.  Upon arrival police found an unidentified male hispanic in front of 277 Lawson Street, suffering from an apparent stab wound to the body. The unidentified victim was pronounced at scene.

This investigation is on going.
