Elmont Drug Dealer Arrested After Discovered with Heroin, Crack Cocaine, Cops Say

Albany, NY - October 6, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Elmont man at 4:45pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Elmont.
 
Detectives from the Narcotics/Vice Squad in conjunction with the Nassau County COPE unit conducted a joint investigation in the Elmont area regarding the sale of heroin. The investigation that began in May 2017 led to the arrest of Shalik D. Robinson, 38.  
 
A search warrant was executed for his residence; recovered items included substances believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, thousands of empty glassine wax bags, two digital scales and an undetermined amount of US currency.
 
Defendant Shalik D. Robinson is charged with five counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance. He was arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
