East Meadow Clothing Store Robbed at Gun Point

East Meadow, NY - October 6th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred in East Meadow on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 3:35 pm.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, an unknown male subject entered into the Mandees Clothing Store located at 1976 Hempstead Turnpike and demanded cash from two female employees while displaying a black handgun. After complying the subject ordered the two employees and two female customers ages 59 and 57 into a back room and tied their hands together forcing them to lie on the floor. 
 
The subject then fled on foot out the front door in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of US currency. The 57 year old female customer was transported to a local hospital and treated for a right hand abrasion and chest discomfort.
 
The subject is described as being male, black, 6’0” tall, 25-35 years of age, thin build, black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants.
