Nassau County Police Department: Freeport Woman Arrested for Theft
Freeport, NY - October 6th, 2013 - The First Squad reports an arrest for Burglary which occurred on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Freeport.
According to detectives, on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 Nancy A. Roth, 54, of 62 Randall Avenue, Freeport, entered the locked room of the male victim, 53, who resided at the same house. She removed a television and brought it to a local pawn shop. The television was recovered and returned to the victim. On Saturday, October 05, 2013 Roth was located at 1820 Sunrise Highway in Merrick and place under arrest without incident.
The defendant is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and was scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead.
