Woodbury, NY - October 3, 2018 - Huntington Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia was presented with the Leadership Huntington Foundation “Lifetime Achievement Award” during their 23rd Annual Gala Ceremony, held at Crest Hollow Country Club on September 26.

Having served as Huntington Town Clerk since 1982, Leadership Huntington sought to recognize Jo-Ann’s achievements as a role model to fellow Town Clerks throughout Long Island and New York State, as a Leader in the Huntington Community, and pioneer as the longest-serving Town Clerk in Huntington’s History.

After being introduced by her son, Assemblyman Andrew Raia, a prior Graduate of Distinction Honoree, Jo-Ann sought to express her heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for being able to serve the residents of the Town for nearly four decades. “Working in public service has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences that I have had. I sincerely appreciate the recognition and the work that Leadership Huntington seeks to instill in all those leaders in our wonderful Town,” stated Ms. Raia.
