Suffolk SPCA Charges Central Islip Man with Neglecting His Two Pit Bulls
Central Islip, NY - October 3, 2018 - Detectives with the Suffolk County SPCA charged a Central Islip man with animal cruelty on Sunday, September 30th, 2018.
Jacques Henri, 72, was charged with neglecting his two dogs, Blue, a 2 year old female pit bull and King, a 1 year old male pit bull, that were confined in a rear yard where there was no shelter or water present. The 2 year old was underweight and ultimately found have been caused by malnutrition. The 1 years old was found tethered to a fence for more than 1 hour on a 2 foot tether with open sores on his ears.
Henri is scheduled to appear in 1st District Court on 12/5/2018.
