Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees (SCAME) Announces Endorsements for Political Candidates for November 4, 2014 Elections

Bohemia, NY - September 30, 2014 - On September 12, 2014, at a meeting of the Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees (SCAME), President Dan Farrell announced the union’s endorsements of candidates for the November 4, 2014 general election.
 
SCAME, representing more than 8,000 municipal employees in Suffolk County, selected candidates who expressed a strong commitment to public workers’ rights and other issues relating to working families, benefits and job creation.
 
“We feel that these candidates will represent the interests of the citizens of Suffolk County, its workforce and the members and families of SCAME,” said Farrell.  “We want to provide the best municipal services possible to the entire Suffolk County community, and we believe these candidates will help us do that.”
