Suffolk County Police Issue Silver Alert for Marilyn Labate

Update, September 30th 12:00 PM: Marilyn Labate, who went missing from the Walt Whitman Mall on September 29, has been found unharmed.

Huntington Station, NY - September 29th, 2013 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Huntington Bay woman who suffers from diabetes.
 
Marilyn Labate, 67, is described as white, 5 feet 1 inch tall, with gray shoulder-length hair, and weighs 160 pounds.  She was last seen at the Walt Whitman Mall at approximately 4:30 p.m.  She was wearing a black shirt, black pants and was carrying a cane and an oxygen pack.
 
Anyone with information on her location is requested to contact Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
