Robbery in Uniondale

Uniondale, NY - September 30, 2013 - First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Monday, 09/30/13 at 10:30 A.M.

According to detectives, a female victim, 20, pulled up to the gas pump of the Shamrock Gas station  located at 940 Nassau Blvd., when she was approached by a subject who pretended to be a gas attendant.  The subject asked how much gas the victim wanted and she stated $20 and then handed him the money.  The subject fled on foot southbound on Brookside Ave.  The male passenger, 23, in the victim’s vehicle stopped the subject on Pine St. where he asked for the money.  The subject pulled a switchblade knife and stated he didn’t take anything.  The victim retreated back to the gas station and notified police.

No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as a male black, 50-52 years of age, 6’ tall, and 180 lbs.  No further description is available.
