This Week's Adorable Adoptable is Tarantino!

Written by Allison Matos  |  30. September 2016

LI's Adorable Adoptables is a weekly column by Allison Matos, a lifelong Long Island resident who has been advocating animal adoption since 2012. Allison's weekly posts highlight local animals in need of adoption, and cover general animal welfare topics as well.

Can you believe this handsome fella was found as a stray, tied to a pole? But that didn't seem to break his spirit one bit! Tarantino is super loving, silly, goofy, energetic, and really just wants to be near people. He loves to hug, so much so that he thinks he’s a lap dog (which is so very adorable).

Tarantino is being recommending for a home with kids 13 and up since this boy has lots of energy that he isn’t able to expel living in a shelter- which is why its important for him to find a forever home as fast as possible. Tarantino is tolerant and social with other dogs, but comes off a little pushy first because he is so energetic.

The staff at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter loves Tarantino, and believes you will too if you give him a chance. Please call for more information: 516-785-5220 or head down for a visit at: 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh NY 11793.

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop...pass it on!
