Alcott HR President & CEO Louis Basso to join as panelist on executive breakfast topic, "Leveraging Creative Healthcare Solutions in the Affordable Care Act Environment" at the HIA-LI Health & Wellness Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016.

Hauppauge, NY - September 27, 2016 - Alcott HR, a leading provider of human resources (HR) outsourcing solutions with offices in Farmingdale, Manhattan, Buffalo and Rochester, NY, announced that its President & CEO Louis Basso will be among the industry leaders serving on the Executive Breakfast panel at the upcoming HIA-LI Health & Wellness Conference, Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The topic will be “Leveraging Creative Healthcare Solutions in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Environment.” Basso will lend his expertise in this area which includes his direct involvement as an appointee of New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo to serve on the Long Island Regional Advisory Committee for the New York State Health Benefit Exchange, New York State of Health, which was established pursuant to the federal Affordable Care Act.

As President and CEO of Alcott HR, a professional employer organization (PEO) he co-founded in 1987, Basso has led the company’s growth from serving a client base of 35 companies with a couple of hundred employees to now serving hundreds of clients and thousands of worksite employees. Other of Basso’s achievement include: Finalist ranking in the Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and National Federation of Independent Businesses’ (NFIB) “Small Business Advocate of the Year” and “Small Business Champion” awards. In 2007, he was one of the first inductees into the New York State Business Hall of Fame.
