The down payment assistance program provides grants to assist first-time homebuyers with down payment or closing costs, and the emergency mortgage assistance program is designed to prevent homeowners facing financial strain from losing their property to foreclosure.

“Each of these housing agencies provide important resources and assistance to those looking to buy their first home,”Legislator Mulé said. “It is my hope that this seminar connected residents with important programs and information that can help them achieve their dream of home ownership.”
