Hempstead, NY - September 26, 2017 - Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a fatal auto accident involving a bicyclist that occurred on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 8:50 pm in Hempstead.
According to detectives, Kenneth Pierce, 52, from Hempstead, while on his bicycle heading westbound on Windsor Parkway, attempted to cross Baldwin Road when he was struck by a northbound 2011 BMW being driven by a 27 year old male. As a result of the collision Mr. Pierce suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into this incident continues.
