Heritage Trust's Fall into Fun Carnival

Mount Sinai, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 26 - 29

The Fall into Fun Carnival promises four days of rides, treats, and games for all ages at Heritage Park in Mount Sinai.

 

26th Annual Wildwood Fall Festival

Wading River, Saturday September 28

The twenty-sixth annual Fall Festival at Wildwood State Park is a fun filled family event featuring a variety of craft vendors, live entertainment and refreshments. All activities are free and include children’s games, wagon rides, pony rides, petting zoo, funny photos, inflatables, build a scarecrow contest and pumpkin weight raffle.

 

Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium Fall Festival

Cold Spring Harbor, Saturday, September 28

Kids fishing, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, exhibits, games, food and more.

 

Harvest Fair and Live Auction

Bellport, Saturday September 28

Annual Harvest fair and auction featuring live auction, craft vendors, home-baked goods, food and entertainment. Auction includes 200 items such as original artwork, gift baskets, children's  items, wine and wine tastings and gift certificates for food, spas, groceries, theater, and more.

Fall Festival Weekends at The Shoppes at East Wind

Wading River, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Local vendors, food, shopping, bouncy house for the kids, farmers market, carousel rides, wooden train, The Shoppes Big Chair, the East Wind Scarecrow Contest and more. Scarecrow contest will be open for voting beginning Friday, September 27.

 

Harbes Farm Pumpkin Festival

Mattituck, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

The grand seasonal opening of their Barnyard Pumpkin Patch. Concession foods, Harbes Vineyard wines, live musical entertainment, barnyard adventure, musical hayride, and u-pick pumpkin patch.

 

Miller Place-Mount Sinai Historical Society Annual Country Fair

Miller Place, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Experience life in early America at the 300-year old William Miller house. Open hearth cooking, basket weaving, wampum bead making, Revolutionary War encampment, historic farm tools, Victorian games, face painting, and more, $5 minimum donation required for admittance. Admission includes a tour of the historic William Miller house.

 

Oktoberfest Events Benefitting Long Island's Neediest Kids

Huntington Station, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Hosted at Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station, this Oktoberfest event features award-winning beer freshly baked, authentic Oktoberfest fare, including Bavarian pretzels and sizzling bratwurst. Smitty’s Polka Band, Melinda and the Oompahs, and Street Beat Brass will provide traditional German entertainment.

2019 Long Island Fair at Old Bethpage Village Restoration

Bethpage, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Every fall, Old Bethpage Village Restoration hosts the Long Island Fair; the official New York State sanctioned county fair for Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Thousands of exhibits are entered to compete for blue ribbons in categories such as culinary, horticulture, livestock, needlework and hobbies. In addition, a variety of performers and demonstrators will provide traditional entertainment including: musicians, jugglers, magic shows, puppet shows, a mime, contra dancing and craft demonstrations.

 

Heritage Farm & Garden Fall Festival

East Norwich, Saturday September 28 & Sunday, September 29

Corn maze, pick your own pumpkins, cider, baked goods, farm animals, and more.

 

The 18th Malverne Fall Festival & Classic Car Show

Malverne, Sunday, September 29

Giant craft fair, car show, pet parade and contest, autumn pumpkin patch, inflatable rides including the towering rock wall and mechanical bull, chili cook-off, live music, food trucks and more.

 

30th Annual Long Island Apple Festival

Setauket, Sunday, September 29

Now in its 30th year, the Long Island Apple Festival is a historic experience for all families to enjoy. Activities and events include live music, open-hearth colonial cooking demonstrations, an apple pie baking contest and pie auction, apple relay races, tug-o-war, and apple-head doll making. As always, there will be freshly pressed apple juice and food, hay and pony rides, numerous artisans and crafters for shopping, as well as tours of the historic Sherwood-Jayne House.
