The event took place at the Hartlin Inn and was attended by animal rescue groups such as Sav a Pet, Volunteers for Animal Rescue, and Regina Quinn Legacy Fund.

“If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, I would encourage you to consider adoption,” said Legislator Anker. “Many of Long Island’s animal shelters provide pets that would make excellent companions. Please consider adoption when looking for a new pet.”
