Written by Long Island News & PR  |  29. September 2022

Mad For Chicken, a Korean fried chicken chain, is on Long Island. The first one opened in Rockville Centre a few weeks ago, with more on the way, according to their website. They already have locations all over New York City, with Massapequa, East Meadow, and Plainview set to open next.

While they have plenty of chicken on the menu including wings, drumsticks and boneless breasts, they also serve up mac & cheese, clam chowder and chicken tortilla soups, and fried dumplings.

Online reviewers were happy to find Mad For Chicken is now in their hometown.

On Yelp, Wayne W, from Rockville Centre, gave this location five stars.

“Took out from the new Rockville Centre location, had the soy garlic drumstick & wing combo simply amazing,” he wrote. “The dumplings were also delish! My wife loved the avocado & grilled chicken salad which she loved! A must try for Korean chicken loving foodies.”

Shane H, from Oceanside, said the food was amazing.

“I'm familiar with the MFC franchise after visiting the ones in Queens for years so I am very happy to see one finally in LI,” he wrote.
