Three People Arrested for Selling Alcohol to a Minor

Medford, NY - September 19th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police arrested three people yesterday for selling alcohol to a minor in three separate stores in Medford and Ronkonkoma.

Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol to minors at numerous establishments and three were found to be in violation.

The following people were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st Degree:

  • Sami Guleryuz, 46, of Coram, employed at US Petroleum, located at 2664 Route 112, Medford
  • Eyyup Tunaoglu, 38, of Islip, employed at BP Gas, located at 2665 Route 112, Medford
  • Christopher Norris, 23, of Coram, employed at Hess, located at 440 Portion Road, Lake Ronkonkoma

All three suspects were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
