Nassau County Police: Burglary Arrest in Great Neck

The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:50 a.m. for a Burglary that occurred in Great Neck.

Great Neck, NY - September 21, 2013 - According to detectives, on Wednesday, August 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. the defendant Stanislav Brynskiy, 27 of 3153 Coney Island Avenue used a metal bar to pry the door of a Welwyn Road apartment belonging to a 53 year old male victim. Brynskiy fled the apartment with the victim’s Rolex watch. During the investigation it was discovered that the victim and defendant were known to each other. The defendant was located on Saturday, September 21, 2013 when he was arrested in Brooklyn for a separate incident. The proceeds were not recovered.
 
Brynskiy is charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Possession of Burglar Tools. He will be arraigned on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead.
