Farmingdale, NY - September 21, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Homicide detectives are investigating an incident where a man died after falling off a roof in Farmingdale this morning.
Lech Chrostowski, 57, of Queens New York, was working on a roof at 465 Smith Street when he fell approximately 20-feet to the ground. He was transported to St. Josephs Hospital in Bethpage where he was pronounced dead. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) were notified.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Nassau County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
