SCPD are seeking Emily Higgins, 17, a missing Lake Ronkonkoma teen.

Holtsville, NY - Sept. 20, 2018 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Lake Ronkonkoma teen who suffers from PTSD, depression and anxiety.
 
Emily Higgins, 17, was last seen at The Sequoia Charter School, located at 750 Waverly Ave. in Holtsville, on September 13 at approximately 11 a.m. Higgins is white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 195 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. She has a pierced nose and multiple piercings in her ears. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a blue T-shirt and white Nike sneakers.
 
Higgins was believed to be in Manhattan on September 15 and could be in the Bronx or Staten Island. The New York Police Department has been notified.
 
Anyone with information on Higgins’ location is asked to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or 911.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
