Bay Shore, NY - September 20th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the male suspect whoused a stolen credit card to purchase merchandise at the Lowes Home Improvement Store in Bay Shore.

On August 25, 2013, an unknown person removed a woman’s purse from her vehicle while she was attending a burial service at the New Montefiore Cemetery in East Farmingdale.  Later that day, the woman’s credit card was used to purchase assorted power tools at the Lowes store located at 800 Sunrise Highway.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a dark colored baseball cap with logos on the front and on the brim and a gray t-shirt with an unknown logo on the front.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
