Two Jailed for Selling Drugs in Franklin Square Via the Internet, According to Authorities

Franklin Square, NY - September 19, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of two men for Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance that occurred in Franklin Square on Sunday September 17, 2017 at 11:10 pm.
 
According to Narcotics / Vice Bureau detectives, an extensive investigation by the Long Island Heroin Task Force for the sale of Narcotics that was occurring on the Internet was being conducted in the Franklin Square area. Detectives were able to identify and arrest the defendants Dean J. Moran, 29, of Great Neck and Nicolas Chapman, 27, of New Hyde Park on Sunday, September 17, 2017.

A subsequent investigation led to the recovery of a large assortment of Narcotics that included 16.5 grams of Cocaine, 13 Grams of MDMA (Ecstasy), 73 tabs of LSD, 2.5 ounces of Marijuana, 71 20mgs pills of Oxycodone, and liquid THC.
 
Defendant Dean Moran is charged with 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree.
 
Nicolas Chapman is charged with Petit Larceny (Attempt). Both men were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday, September 18, 2017.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
