Garden City, NY - September 19, 2017 - Representatives from Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas presented a check for $500 to Island Harvest – a Long Island-based hunger relief organization dedicated to providing food and services for people who are hungry, and a voice for people who are in need – on September 13. To raise funds, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas in Garden City donated $1 for every dish sold from its Local Harvest menu throughout the month of August. The donation will help support Island Harvest’s efforts to provide a vital supply of food to counter the sharply rising problem of hunger.
