CANCELLED - Police Issue Alert for Missing Plainview Man With Cognitive Disorder

New York, NY - September 19, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a Missing Adult that occurred on Monday, September 18, 2017 between 7:00 am and 7:30 pm in Plainview.
 
According to detectives, Nelson Joseph, 28, was last seen leaving his Summit Court home on foot to take a public bus to his place of work in Westbury. Nelson is described as a male black, 5’11” tall, 160 lbs., brown eyes and a black/brown goatee. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, red sweatpants and a red sweatshirt. Nelson suffers from a cognitive disorder and is in need of medication.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the above missing to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
