SCPD are seeking the man who attempted to rob a Lindenhurst gas station.

Lindenhurst, NY - Sept. 18, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to rob a Lindenhurst gas station earlier this month.
 
A man entered Ultra gas station, located at 571 West Montauk Highway, displayed a knife and demanded money from the employee on September 4 at approximately 3 p.m. When the employee refused, the man, who was described as white with a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm, attempted to take money from the register. The employee then swung a metal stool at the suspect, who fled on foot with no proceeds.
