Robbery at Capital One Bank in Bohemia

Bohemia, NY - September 18, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Capital One bank in Bohemia today.

A man entered the bank, located 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 4:36 p.m., approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the robber’s demand. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.  He was last seen heading east on Veterans Memorial Highway.

The robber is described as an unshaven white male in his mid-20s, between 5 feet 10 inches tall and 6 feet tall.  He was wearing a light blue shirt, black shorts, a knit Jets cap and sunglasses.
