Albany, NY - September 17, 2013 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in honor of the victims of the Washington Navy Yard. The flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset September 20, 2013.

"I join all Americans in mourning the twelve innocent lives lost during the tragic and senseless attack at the Washington Navy Yard,” Governor Cuomo said. “On behalf of all New Yorkers, I extend my deepest sympathy to the families of the victims.”
