Nassau Police Revive Glen Head Overdose Victim with Narcan, Officials Say

The Nassau County Police Department reports the details of a possible drug overdose that occurred in Glen Head.
 
According to detectives, Sixth Precinct Police Officers responded along with a Nassau County Police Medic to a Meadow Lane residence for an unresponsive 23 year old male. The Nassau County Police Officer with the assistance of a Police Medic administered Narcan to the male. The victim immediately showed signs of effectiveness and became alert and responsive. 
 
The victim was transported to a nearby Hospital by the Glenwood Fire Department for further evaluation and treatment.
