SCPD: Man Wanted for Stealing from Huntington Mosque

Huntington, NY - September 15, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who damaged a donation box and stole money from a mosque in Huntington on August 27, 2014.
 
A man entered Masjid Noor, located at 1032 Park Ave., at approximately 11 a.m., pried open a donation box with a hammer and stole money from the box. The man fled on foot.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
