SCPD: Man Wanted for Grand Larceny in Port Jefferson

Port Jefferson, NY - July 10, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole a wallet from a store counter in Port Jefferson in July.
A customer left his wallet that contained credit cards and money on the counter of 7-Eleven, located at 84 North Country Road, on July 27 at approximately 9 a.m.  Another customer took the wallet and fled the store.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
