NCPD: Elmont Liquor Store Robbed

Elmont, NY - September 10, 2014 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 2:11 p.m. in Elmont.
 
According to detectives, the male owner of the Robomar Liquor Store located at 645 Hempstead Turnpike observed two male black subjects, 6’0” tall, 200 lbs., walk to the rear of the store.  As he continued to observe the subjects he saw the first subject, in a black tee shirt, secrete a bottle of vodka in his shorts, while the second subject, in a red tee shirt attempted to block the victim’s view.  The owner attempted to stop the subjects from exiting the store through a rear exit at which time one subject shoved him out of the way. They both fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.
