Central Islip Man Shot Dead While Walking on the Street

Central Islip, NY - September 5, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the shooting death of a Central Islip man early this morning.

Marcus Bohannon was walking south on Lowell Avenue at Ash Street in Central Islip when he was shot at approximately 12:45 a.m. Neighbors called police after hearing shots fired and when police arrived, they found Bohannon laying in the street.

Bohannon, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
