Mineola, NY - September 2, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano (3rd left) thanked Eddie Kehaian of Detailing Dynamics on behalf of the people of Nassau County for his generous donation to the Winthrop Cancer Center for Kids. Mr. Kehaian, owner of Detailing Dynamics held a car show recently at Chelsea Mansion and donated all of the entry fees to the Winthrop Cancer Center for Kids.

The Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK), positioned within the framework of Winthrop-University Hospital’s broad-based pediatric programs, meets the complex challenges of children’s cancers and blood disorders with a relentless spirit and dedication to improving the lives of our patients and their families.

Winthrop's Cancer Center for Kids is the largest outpatient facility for treating children with cancer and blood disorders in Nassau County; it is the County’s only member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG), a prestigious international consortium of collaborating hospitals recognized as leaders in the treatment of childhood cancers. COG membership places Winthrop at the forefront of research, and the use of the latest treatment protocols. Their enhanced collaborative studies and access to New York City’s bone marrow transplant units are integral to their delivery of care, bringing world-class medicine to Nassau County.
