SCPD are seeking the public’s help to locate Alejandro Vargas-Diaz, 36, wanted for a Port Jefferson homicide.

Port Jefferson, NY - August 31, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a man wanted for a Port Jefferson homicide that occurred in July.
 
Albert Luis Rodriguez Lopez, 27, of Selden, was shot and killed inside Billiards DBM, located at 1604 Main St., on July 22 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Following an investigation, detectives determined the shooter was Alejandro Vargas-Diaz, 36. Vargas-Diaz also goes by Alejandro deVargas-Diaz and Robin Vargas. He has ties to Brooklyn, Queens, Paramus, New Jersey, Patterson, New Jersey and Hartford, Connecticut.
