Roosevelt, NY - August 31st, 2015 - First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Roosevelt on Sunday, 08/30/15 at 4:30 A.M.

According to detectives, two subjects armed with a baseball bat, approached a male victim, 32, on E. Fulton Ave./Babylon Tpke., and began striking him on the head with the bat. The victim fell to the ground and the subjects went through his pockets, removing his cell phone, cash, credit cards and NYS Driver License. The subjects fled on foot northbound on Babylon Tpke.

The victim, who sustained lacerations and contusions to the head and face was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The subjects are described as male blacks. No further description is available.
