Nassau’s Sprinkler Parks are Going to the Dogs! Curran Announces Second Annual Water Bark

Written by Chris Boyle  |  01. September 2021

Nassau County’s splash parks are going to the dogs! Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced today, in light of National Dog Day, that the County will host their second annual “Water Bark” on Sunday, September 12, 2021. The County’s splash parks will officially close for the season after Labor Day but they’re opening up one last time in 2021 for Nassau’s furry family members to run, splash and play. The free event will take place at three County splash parks located in Eisenhower Park, Cow Meadow Park and North Woodmere Park.

“I am thrilled to bring back this successful event that gives our residents and their four-legged family members a unique opportunity to enjoy the dog days of summer in our beautiful County parks. I encourage residents to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities and activities Nassau’s 70 parks and preserves have to offer,” said Nassau County Laura Executive Curran.
