Smithtown, NY - August 27, 2018 - Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta congratulated Brian O’Reilly for completing the requirements to receive the County’s Distinguished Youth Silver Award. This award focuses on four categories: Volunteer Service, Personal Development, Exploration and Physical Fitness. 
 
The purpose of the program is get the young people more involved in their communities and to improve their well-bring. Brian completed 100 hours of developing his personal skills and 100 hours of doing physical fitness activities, as well as visiting and exploring 15 Suffolk County parks. 
 
“I am proud of Brian’s accomplishments and his determination to complete this program and achieve this recognition,” said Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta.
 
Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, and serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Parks & Recreation and Veterans Committees.
