New Dunkin' Donuts REBUILDD Long Island T-Shirts to Benefit Long Island Cares, Inc.

Long Island, NY - August 27th, 2013 - Dunkin' Donuts has launched a line of brand new, colorful t-shirts to help Long Island rebuild following the widespread impact of Hurricane Sandy. The new t-shirts are emblazoned with the words REBUILDD Long Island, and a portion of the proceeds from every shirt sold will be donated to Long Island Cares, Inc. to support  its Emergency Response and Recovery Services programs that continue to assist families in the post Sandy recovery process.

"This is a very special campaign on the part of Long Island Dunkin Donuts stores and part of a rewarding partnership between the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins Foundation and the regional food bank," said Paule Pachter, Executive Director of Long Island Cares. Dunkin' Donuts and many of their Long Island stores were there to assist communities impacted by Sandy during the early days of the storm, and now they continue to be there to offer ongoing support through the recovery process."

The RebuilDD Long Island t-shirts retail for $11.99 each and come in a varety of colors and sizes. They can be purchased at all Dunkin' Donuts Long Island locations or through Long Island Cares by calling (631) 582-3663 x 105.  Mail orders must include shipping and handling.
