Second Squad detectives report the arrest of a Orlando, Florida man for an incident that occurred in Jericho.

 

According to detectives, James Gibson, 39, while at Bespoke Motor Group, 115 South Service Road, using fraudulent forms of identification, attempted to pick up a 2015 Bentley valued at $135,000 that was previously purchased through a broker via a “Sign & Drive” agreement. After becoming suspicious about his identity the company president called police. Upon police arrival Gibson was found to be in possession of a fraudulent New Jersey license in the name of the intended buyer, a fraudulent American Express credit card and a fraudulent Florida driver’s license.

 

Gibson is charged with Attempted Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Forgery 2nd Degree, three (3) counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree and two (2) counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree. He was arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead.
