Suffolk County Police Seeking Suspect Who Robbed Bohemia Capital One Bank

Bohemia, NY - August 25, 2017 - Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Bohemia, New York on Thursday, August 24, 2017.
 
A man entered the Capital One bank, located at 4625 Sunrise Highway, at approximately 3:30 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The suspect fled the bank on foot.
 
The suspect was described as a white male with a stocky build in his late 20 to early 30s, between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a dark goatee and mustache. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark-colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black and white baseball cap with dollar signs.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
