Rep. Rice to Host Women- & Minority-Owned Business Resource Fair on Thursday

Freeport, NY - August 25, 2015 - U.S. Representative Kathleen Rice is hosting a Women- and Minority-Owned Business Resource Fair on Thursday, August 27th, at the Freeport Recreation Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration and several other government agencies and business organizations will be on site to help business owners with the Women and Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) certification process, provide legal assistance, and offer information about professional development, opportunities for domestic and international growth, and partnership opportunities with local and state governments.
