Man Wanted for Using Stolen Credit Card to Purchase Video Games at Shirley Game Stop

Shirley, NY - August 25th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who used a stolen credit card to purchase a video game in Shirley earlier this month.

A man entered Game Stop, located at 999 Montauk Highway in Shirley, on August 16 at approximately 7:45 p.m. and used a stolen credit card to purchase Grand Theft Auto, a videogame. The man was described as white, thin, approximately 6 feet tall and in his mid-20s. He was wearing a tan hooded-sweatshirt, shorts and sneakers.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
