Woman Wanted for Stealing Purse From Car Outside of Babylon 711

Babylon, NY - August 22nd, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a woman who charged more than $6,000 on a stolen credit card earlier this month.

On August 7 at approximately 10 a.m. a Louis Vuitton pocket book was stolen from a vehicle parked in front of the 7-Eleven located at 140 Little East Neck Road, Babylon.  Several hours later, a woman, accompanied by a man, used an American Express credit card that was in the stolen pocketbook and made several purchases totaling approximately $850 at Tanger Outlets located at 152 The Arches Circle in Deer Park.  In addition, $350 was charged at two West Babylon gas stations and the suspects managed to obtain a $5,000 cash advance.

The woman is described as black and she was wearing light blue medical scrubs with a logo from either Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center or Southside Hospital.  The man was described as a black male who was wearing a black “Heat” jersey with white shorts. The suspects were seen leaving the Tanger Outlet in a white SUV.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
