Cops: North Amityville Man Arrested for Driving with Over 70 License Suspensions

Suffolk County Police arrested a North Amityville man for driving with more than 70 license suspensions.
 
A First Precinct police officer pulled over a 2005 BMW at the corner of Schleigel Boulevard and Great Neck Road in North Amityville for having cracked and illegally tinted windows. The driver, Terrance Smith, was driving with a license that had been suspended 71 times on 13 dates.
 
Smith, 37, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
